TRAVEL HISTORY

My love for traveling arose during my studies, when I lived in Finland for a semester. After my studies I started earning my own money and that ensured that I could go everywhere. So I only went on a city trip to Oslo, followed by quick trips to Barcelona and Copenhagen.

BACKPACK COUPLE

When I met my husband in 2015, I passed the travel virus on to him. And soon we made a tour through Macedonia, took city trips to London, Milan, Berlin, Copenhagen. And not soon after we booked our first real backpacking trip to China. An incredibly exciting and impressive journey that made us fall in love with Asia.

Many other trips followed in the years that followed, from Russia to Borneo and even to Greenland.

The highlight of all our trips is 3 months of backpacking through Australia and New Zealand, among others, we are extremely grateful that we were able to do this.

NEW CHAPTER

And still counting..

Because we haven't been sitting still since Puck became part of the family.

After we got married last year, the desire to get a dog became stronger and stronger.

Until then, we regularly had a guest dog, but due to our work situation, having our own dog was not possible at the time. But that has changed and we now both regularly work from home.

And the dog's wish came into play again.

We looked at each other carefully and would be happy to possibly travel more (far).

But not before we discovered what traveling with a dog is like. And we are currently working on that, and we want to share our experiences here, but also give tips and tricks for traveling with a dog.
