We created this page out of our love for traveling with our dog.

Traveling is not something new for us, but it is with a dog.

For this you need information about, for example, flying with a dog, or which nature parks you can visit with a dog, what are the specific rules of a country regarding vaccinations?

Quite a lot of information that is very important, but not always easy to find. Hence this website, where we share our stories, but also tips and tricks that should not be missed.

But to start with the beginning, who are we?

Susan & Sander

We met each other 9 years ago through mutual friends.

As a kind of blind date, we went to the Christmas market in Dordrecht, a date that ended up lasting almost 12 hours.

And during that day I told a lot about my time in Finland and my love for traveling.

After which Sander asked me if I also liked the sun. Because Sander was more into sun/sea/beach holidays.

During that first date there was an immediate click and 2 days later we saw each other again.

At that time I still lived in a studio in Breda and Sander had an apartment in Vlaardingen.
Soon we were spending the weekends in Breda and I was spending the night in Vlaardingen during the week.

Until after six months we decided that I would move in with Sander and give up my studio in Breda.

We got married last year and expanded our family with Puck.

And we have been living in a beautiful house in the center of Brielle for almost 4 years now.

Susan

Born in Vlaardingen and raised in Rozenburg, with my parents and brother and sister.

I went to high school in Maassluis and then went on to study food technology at a higher vocational level. During my studies I went to Finland for a semester (the origin of my wanderlust).

A wonderful time in which I met people from all over the world and saw and did a lot.

After my studies, I started working at a food products company as a Quality Control Technician. And I have now had several roles in different companies that all have to do with food safety. I currently work as a food auditor where I carry out inspections throughout the Netherlands (and sometimes abroad).

Sander

Puck

Puck is an extremely eager to learn and sometimes mischievous but above all happy little boy.

Puck is a cross between a Pomeranian and a Shih Tzu and was born August 14, 2023.

On October 6 we were able to take him to his forever home.
